Experts from the EU projects ZDZW and RoBétARMÉ organised a joint booth at the Hannover Fair 2025 to show project results and discuss collaboration and clustering activities with a broader public. The participation in the trade fair was a complete success. Both EU projects successfully established numerous new contacts with industry and strengthened existing ones.
EFF organised a 30 m² joint booth together with the EU project ZDZW from 31.03.2025 to 04.04.2025. Our project partner, Robotnik, showcased the prototype robot at the trade fair stand as a visual highlight. There was great interest in it, and the visitor frequency was very high, significantly higher on the first three days of the trade fair. After that, it levelled off somewhat. However, the audience was much more diverse than at specific trade fairs for the construction industry. Of the 19 partners in the RoBétARMÉ project, seven partners, comprising 16 individuals, were present at the stand during the trade fair week and were able to answer all questions from interested parties due to their diverse expertise. The seven partners include COBOD, ROB, EFF, DS4, MORE, DTT, and UNI.
EVENT IMPACT
The Hannover Messe is one of the world’s largest trade fairs, dedicated to the topic of industry development. It is organised by Deutsche Messe AG and held at the Hanover Fairground in Hanover, Germany. Typically, there are about 6,500 exhibitors and 250,000 visitors. In total, around 30 qualified contacts were generated who could imagine using the robot developed for the construction industry with minor modifications for other applications in other industrial sectors.
