The eFactory project was exhibited in the Industry4.0 Summit in Manchester, UK. It is the UK’s premier gathering of senior level executives from the UK manufacturing industry interested in developing their digital strategies. The summit was attended by over 2000 people over two days. At the exhibition booth, digital manufacturing and IoT solutions developed as part of the base platforms (such as vf-OS and DIGICOR) were the key attractions.

EVENT IMPACT
The Industry4.0 Summit attracts leading authorities from government, business, academia & industry associations keen to share their experiences and to look at best practices for manufacturers keen to implement change across their organisation. A large number of people expressed interest in eFactory platform. Participation in the summit enabled the project partner ICE to promote the eFactory project along with its aim to establish an open connected factory platform in Europe. A key feature of this event was a presentation of the eFactory distributed workflow automation solution. The presentation helped to increase the awareness of the eFactory tools that will be offered through the eFactory platform.
